The Volcan Cristalino Tequila is a blend of añejo (aged) and extra-añejo tequila, crafted from 100% Jalisco lowland Weber blue agave. The añejo tequila was aged in Glenmorangie whiskey casks, and the extra-añejo was aged in Hennessy cognac casks. The tequilas are meticulously filtered, then blended.
This Cristalino Tequila by Volcan De Mi Tierra has a bright and clear quality, with rich and robust flavors, and an ABV of 40%. On the nose, it exudes aromas of dried fruits, tobacco, chocolate, and vanilla. Unique and elegant, it gives flavors of caramel and tobacco, with notes of dark chocolate, and a silky finish on the palate.
